Wing Riding Wisconsin:    As of the time I am writing this, we have not had any rides for the month of October, but we do have one scheduled for the 25th.

From the Directors:Hello Chapter H members and friends!

GWRRA’s policy for gatherings is to follow local guidelines. Please only participate in activities and functions if you feel safe doing so!

University classes have stopped for the rest of the year, and are expected to resume in January. Stay tuned for details on class offerings as they become available. Feel free to visit the universities webpage for more information at www.gwrradot.com.   These classes are FREE, and some of them are required for the Levels program.

We are thinking it’s time to do a zoom check in in addition to our next month’s social.  It will be just a nice chance for those we have not seen to be able to reconnect.  We haven’t set a date and time yet so please watch for info in an upcoming email, and on the Chapter H Facebook page.  We also are looking for any input or ideas anyone may have for ways to keep connected during this extended pandemic.  We can schedule zoom meets more frequently if everyone is interested, and we can come up with activities to do while on the meet as well.  We are open to your ideas, so please share them!  We are hoping everyone is staying busy, active, and enjoying the end of our summer.  The fall colors were such a welcomed beauty this year – it seems like it has been a really long time since we had such a colorful tapestry!   I know we sure enjoyed plenty of apples and apple treats this fall – never too many in my opinion!!

..  Stay safe! Bruce & Tina Gebhard

From the Directors:

Hello Chapter H members and friends!

GWRRA’s policy for gatherings is to follow local guidelines. Please only participate in activities and functions if you feel safe doing so!

We hope this finds everyone staying healthy and getting in as much riding as possible.  It is hard to believe we are entering October already.  For a year that involved a lot of “nothing happening”, it sure went by quickly!  This past month has been a whirlwind in our house, between house projects and a wedding.  We did still find some time to ride.  One of us even found time to get her motorcycle license!

With this time of year, we find some of the most beautiful scenery to ride in.  Find ways to take advantage of these opportunities before we have to put our bikes away for the winter.  If you have an idea for an impromptu ride don’t hesitate to get ahold of us, or put it out on Facebook!

We also need to be mindful of the other things Fall brings to riding…leaves on the roadway, cooler temps, possible frost, and very active animals!  Make sure you are prepared to ride when you do get on your bike, and remain alert – not only to your surroundings but your environment (changing weather/temps).

University classes continue to be offered via zoom calls. There are some excellent classes being given, and we would encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity!  Visit www.gwrradot.com to see all the classes being offered. Typically, they conduct one class in the afternoon, and repeat it in the evening.  These classes are FREE!

We look forward to seeing those of you that are joining us at the Snow Bird dinner, and/or the next Social!

Stay safe!

Bruce & Tina Gebhard
