Next social is October 13th at 10 am at Castle Rock Inn, 15040 Shemak Rd, Muscoda. Then group ride back to Madison after social.
Saturday, October 5th – Chapter Ride. Meet at Barriques Coffee, 5957 McKee Rd, Fitchburg, WI at 8 am for coffee. Departure at 9 am with a stop at Kwik Trip, 400 E Verona Rd to pick up anyone who wants to meet us there at 9:20 am. Then ride to Potosi Brewery for lunch arriving around 11:30 am. After lunch, we will be doing the brewery tour. Cost is $5 per person. Return ride to Madison.
Saturday, November 2 – Game Day & Halloween Party. 3pm – ? at Harris’ 4731 Nora Lane, Madison, WI. The chapter officers will be providing barbeque and ham sandwiches. Pop and water will be provided. Please bring a dish to share. There will be an optional costume party and contest.
In case you were not at last month’s social, you may not have heard he news. The 2020 Region E Ride-I in Hannibal, MO has been cancelled. Don’t forget to call and cancel your hotel room.
Wing Ding was a ton of fun! Nashville is such a fun city with plenty of things to do and see. During the drawing s at the closing ceremonies, Tom & Jackie Barman won the cruise!! Next year’s Wing Ding is moved back to the 4th of July weekend, It will be in Springfield, MO from Tuesday evening, June 29th through Saturday, July 4th. The MO travel bureau was at Wing Ding and they promised us a great time in Springfield with lots of great rides in the area.
Sunday, October 6th is the Snow bird dinner at Rex’s Innkeeper, Waunakee, WI with cocktails at 4:30 pm and dinner at 5:30 pm. We will be ordering off the menu. If you did not get your ae on the guest list at the September social, but plan on joining us, please let me know asap so I can let Rex know how many to expect.
Sunday, December 15th is the chapter Christmas party at the Dorfhaus in Roxbury, WI. Cocktails will be at 4:30 pm with dinner at 5:00 pm. We will be doing a gift exchange with a $10 suggested price for those interested in participating.
Wing Riding Wisconsin August group rides included 3 bikes with full safety gear to the 1st annual district picnic in Westfield. It was a fantastic turnout, good food, and great camaraderie – even some great competitions!
On September 14th, 5 bikes with full gear made the trip to Waukesha for Chapter N’s fund raiser. They had good brats, hot dogs, and some delicious taco bowls. It was a perfect day for a ride and Chapter H brought home some of the raffle prizes.
On Friday, September 20th, 3 bikes from our chapter participated in one of the guided 6 hour rides at the Iowa District Rally. All riders and passengers had full safety gear on. The day started out rainy, but turned out to be a beautiful day and it got warm in the afternoon.
Remember to report any 50 mile ride with 3 vehicles (must have at least 1 bike/trike) to us so we can include the information in the newsletter.
