We made a partial loop to the north, going thru some great country back roads and ended in Sauk City at Culvers. Total mileage was just under 100 miles.
September 17th Thursday night Chapter H GWRRA motorcycle ride with 3 bikes and 4 riders about 65 miles Temperature was 65 when we started and 55 when we were done: scenic ride through Sauk County, Iowa County & Dane County. This was our last “scheduled” evening ride for the season.

The trip there was a scenic route down Hwy 60 to “B” thru Plain, Sextonville, and Richland center. The return trip went thru Muscoda with a lunch stop at Honkers. Everybody had a great time. From the Directors:
Hello Chapter H members and friends!
GWRRA’s policy for gatherings is to follow local guidelines. Please only participate in activities and functions if you feel safe doing so!
We hope this finds everyone staying healthy and getting in as much riding as possible. It is hard to believe we are entering October already. For a year that involved a lot of “nothing happening”, it sure went by quickly! This past month has been a whirlwind in our house, between house projects and a wedding. We did still find some time to ride. One of us even found time to get her motorcycle license!
With this time of year, we find some of the most beautiful scenery to ride in. Find ways to take advantage of these opportunities before we have to put our bikes away for the winter. If you have an idea for an impromptu ride don’t hesitate to get ahold of us, or put it out on Facebook!
We also need to be mindful of the other things Fall brings to riding…leaves on the roadway, cooler temps, possible frost, and very active animals! Make sure you are prepared to ride when you do get on your bike, and remain alert – not only to your surroundings but your environment (changing weather/temps).
University classes continue to be offered via zoom calls. There are some excellent classes being given, and we would encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity! Visit www.gwrradot.com to see all the classes being offered. Typically, they conduct one class in the afternoon, and repeat it in the evening. These classes are FREE!
We look forward to seeing those of you that are joining us at the Snow Bird dinner, and/or the next Social!
Bruce & Tina
